VALORANT team finishes VCL East: Surge third

After going undefeated in the group stage of VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Stage 1, our VALORANT team qualified directly to the second phase of the playoffs and awaited their opponents, training at the bootcamp.

Despite being comfortable, the first match versus Chipi Chapa’s was very close, with our team narrowly coming out victorious. Next was GoNext, and this time, they came out on top with a 2 – 0 win, leaving us with the lower bracket finals.

However, in the revenge game for Chipi Chapa’s, they managed to close the best-of-five series against us after a very intense series, with the last map going into multiple overtimes. Losing out on the finals appearance and finishing third was hearthbroking, but still a decent result for our VALORANT team.

We are looking forward to Stage 2, which starts on 20. May 2024. That is when we go for that elusive gold and to secure a spot in the Ascension.
